FROM OUR WEDDING CLIENTS:
Dear Mr. and Mrs. H, Artie, Sophia and All of the Staff of the Grand Prospect Hall,
It is now almost three weeks since that magical evening of the wedding of our daughter, yet the wonderful memories are just as vivid as if it were yesterday, and the compliments keep rolling in. We could not possibly have received better service, assistance, guidance or care anywhere else. We also could not possibly have had a more exquisite setting in which to marry off our only daughter.
The slogan on your brochure "chances are you have seen us in your dreams" is most appropriate. From the first moment we stepped into The Grand Prospect Hall, we felt part of a dream come true. The magnificent golden staircase and glittering chandeliers, the exquisite floral carvings and fascinating paintings, even the quaint original elevator, all seemed part of a fairy tale and no wonder people kept asking us the night of the wedding and ever since: How did you find this hall?! We wish you could see the wonderful portrayal of the beauty of the hall in the opening scenes of the wedding video!
However, it was not only the gorgeous physical surroundings. Your personal service was just as incredible. From the first time we met you until the late hour we departed for home after the wedding you consistently treated us like royalty, yet family, at the same time. Our every wish seemed to be your command, so that the beautiful fountain and gold animal statuettes greeted our guests as they entered the cocktail reception, there was a special room designated for the family of the bridegroom to change into their wedding attire, and so much more. Even your place cards (much nicer than the caterers) read: Welcome--we hope you enjoy yourselves. What an appropriate reflection of your warm, personal touch.
Mrs. H, you know that we considered you our wedding mentor, and sought your advice in matters that went way past the realm of the hall. Thanks to you we had a beautiful chupah (bridal canopy), a white runner to walk down on to the ceremony, and my elderly father was able to walk down without actually walking the entire length of the Skylight Room. Furthermore, the orchestra began and ended at just the right time, and the small children had their own special table in the Grand Ballroom. We could not have wished for a better fairy godmother! Our only disappointment in the entire evening, not being able to have the ceremony on the Outdoor Plaza was beyond the jurisdiction of even a fairy godmother. Just imagine if we could control the weather!
You entire staff was wonderfully accommodating, too. You had said we would be expected from 3 p.m. on (3-1/2 hours before invitation time) and we knew you really meant it when we (and our out-of-town guests) were greeted with a selection of soft drinks to refresh ourselves. Your attendant in the ladies lounge transferred the toiletries from my pretty basket to much bigger and much prettier one. Artie was somehow always there (with a smile!) when we needed him, and the young gentlemen who visited us in the bridal suite when the party was over to see if we needed anything else, or some help carrying our belongings, provided the cherry on the top of the cake.
All these words of praise cannot adequately express our words of appreciation and gratitude to you. We will be happy to recommend you to everyone, but feel that the best recommendation is what people saw and experienced at the wedding. As one young (male) guest put it: You have done a great service by introducing the Five Towns-Far Rockaway Orthodox community to this awesome hall. Another guest said: This was not really fair to everyone else. No one can outdo this magnificent affair. Suffice to say, we hope the future in-laws of our four sons will follow in our footsteps when the time comes, and choose The Grand Prospect Hall for their daughters.
We remain sincerely and affectionately yours,
Honorable and Mrs. Martin E. Ritholtz

Dearest Artie,
Having our wedding reception at The Grand Prospect Hall was one of the best decisions Adam and I could have made for a variety of reasons. Too many in fact to list. Let me say however, that The Grand Prospect Hall certainly lives up to its name, in atmosphere, food, service, among other things, not to mention the pampering and one-on-one attention we received when we needed it and even when we did not. Both Adam and I cannot begin to adequately thank you for your part and the part of your staff in making our wedding day absolutely perfect. Family, friends, and colleagues, even months after the event, continue to rave about the food and, of course, the decor. It was largely thanks to you. Perfection. We never could have imagined that everything could have been so perfect, so flawless. It is for that and for your earnest effort in ensuring that everything, every detail, was to our complete and total satisfaction that we wish to extend our warmest heartfelt thanks to you and everyone at The Grand Prospect Hall.
With appreciation and gratitude,
Kim and Adam
